Perfil
Senior engineer with 9 years building reliable distributed systems at scale. Led the migration of a 50M-user platform from a monolith to event-driven services, cutting p95 latency by 40%. Comfortable across the stack — TypeScript, Go, Postgres, Kafka — and equally comfortable mentoring a five-person team.
Experiencia
Senior Software Engineer
Lumen HealthBerlin, Germany
Patient-data platform for European hospital networks; HIPAA + GDPR.
- Led the re-architecture of the records ingestion pipeline from REST polling to a Kafka-based event stream, processing 12k events/sec at peak and reducing data freshness from 5 min to under 8 sec.
- Designed and shipped a regional data-residency layer that lets each hospital network choose where its data lives — unblocked three enterprise deals worth €4.2M ARR.
- Mentored four engineers from mid to senior; two became tech leads within 18 months.
- Owned the 24/7 on-call rotation; cut sev-1 incidents 60% YoY by adding synthetic monitoring and a load-shedding circuit breaker.

Trail AnalyticsLondon, UK (Remote)(remote)
Product analytics SaaS, ~$30M ARR at exit.
- Built the real-time funnel-analysis query engine on top of ClickHouse, dropping median dashboard load from 8s to 600ms.
- Migrated the React SPA to Next.js (SSR + ISR), improving LCP from 3.1s to 1.4s and lifting trial-to-paid conversion by 14%.
- Drove adoption of an internal RFC process — 28 RFCs in the first year, halving rework on cross-team initiatives.
