PRO add-on
Buzzwords Identifier
Pick a CV. Our AI hunts down the tired clichés and empty buzzwords recruiters and ATS screens penalise — 'results-driven team player', 'go-getter', 'synergy' — and shows you a short, factual swap for each one (or where to just cut it).
How the buzzword detector works
- 1Pick a CV you built here — or import one from PDF, Word or LinkedIn.
- 2See every tired buzzword and cliché flagged, with why each one falls flat.
- 3Apply a short, specific swap for each — built from your real work, nothing invented.
CV buzzwords FAQ
Which buzzwords should I avoid on a CV?
The ones that say nothing: clichés ('team player', 'go-getter'), vague value claims ('results-driven', 'detail-oriented'), filler ('responsible for'), hype ('rockstar', 'world-class') and corporate jargon ('synergy', 'leverage'). Recruiters and ATS screens skim past them — the detector flags each one and shows a specific line to use instead.
Does it invent achievements to replace the buzzword?
No. It only rephrases using what's already on your CV — your real tasks, tools and results. If a phrase can't be grounded in something you actually did, it's flagged to cut rather than replaced with an invented fact.
Is the buzzword check free, and do I need an account?
You can build a CV and see a sample result with no sign-up. Scanning your own CV in full — every flagged phrase and its specific swap — is part of PRO (€12/month or €79/year).
Is my CV kept private?
Yes. Your CV is used only to detect buzzwords and suggest swaps — never sold or shared. See our privacy policy for retention and the subprocessors involved.
