How we write and correct our guides

Who writes our guides

TakeMeUp.cv's guides are written and published by Bogdan, the founder, who has spent 28 years hiring in CEO, CTO and Head of Product roles. Every guide shows its author and the date it was last updated.

How we research

For laws and rules we work from primary sources: the official text (EUR-Lex, national legislation portals), government and regulator guidance, and official statistics. We link these sources at the end of each guide. Where a rule differs by country, we say which countries we checked.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help research, draft and translate guides. A person checks the facts, the sources and the dates before publishing.

Independence

No company pays to appear in our guides, and we use no affiliate links. When a guide mentions TakeMeUp.cv's own features, it says so.

Law updates

Articles marked "Law update" report a change in the law or its timeline. They show when they were first published and last updated. They explain what the change means for job seekers and are not legal advice; for your own case, ask a lawyer, a union or the relevant authority.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email contact@takemeup.cv with the page and what's wrong. We reply, usually within two working days. If you're right, we correct the article and update its date. A correction that changes the meaning gets a dated note at the end of the article saying what changed.
