What is Europass, and who needs it?

Europass is the EU's standard CV format. Many European employers, universities and public-sector or Erasmus applications ask for it specifically, because it lays out your experience in a layout every recruiter across the EU recognises.

Which files do I get, and which should I send?

You get a Europass PDF plus machine-readable XML and JSON. Send the PDF to people — it's the version employers and universities open. Upload the XML or JSON to application portals and ATS that import structured Europass data.

How much does Europass export cost?
